Pere Marquette Beach contains large expanse of public sandy beach bordered on the north by the Muskegon Channel. Park is the northern most end of 2.5 miles of City-owned Lake Michigan frontage. There is a 200′ handicapped walkway on the beach.

Pere Marquette Beach, located on Lake Michigan, offers a wide expanse of beach, playground, volleyball courts, a restaurant and access to lighthouses and the Muskegon Channel, also the site of the “USS Silversides,” a World War II Submarine and near by a full service restaurant and bar. There is no entrance fee to the park. One block away, a special Muskegon dog beach.
